it was cold coming off that plane!! i could see my breath, that cold. totally not expecting this. need to find a scarf asap.
hope agra won't be as cold. already the ppl have taken on a different look. where in mumbai the ppl have rounder faces and softer features, in delhi, at least now in the airport, you start to recognize the indian features we are used to in the US: dark skin, jet black hair, bigger noses, thicker eyebrows, etc. fewer ppl are speaking english here, where in mumbai anyone could speak or at least understand. fingers crossed this doesn't become a struggle. we'll see how this develops more, as i spend more time up here in the north. i'll be in this northern region for about 9 more days.
of course, the nerdy side of me came out when i saw some engineers walking through the airport, marking up plans. i approached them and asked them what they were doing, and told them im in construction in the us, blah blah blah. before i left them, i told them they should do something about the terrible internet and lack of lounges, in a joking way. but in reality, this is an airport i'd surely be avoiding. mumbai airport > delhi airport
now i just want to get out of here.
